About 2025 Fall Field Hockey with Pioneer Youth Field Hockey
What You Need To Know!
Founded in 2021, The Pioneer Youth Field Hockey Club has been operating Fall Youth Field Hockey to help girls in K-6th grade find a love of Field Hockey. The Fall season has 2 practices a week and players in grades 1-2, 3-4 and 5-6 play in the LL Youth Field Hockey League against other teams from around the LL. Playdays are scheduled around the county and the Pioneer Youth Field Hockey programs fields teams at all levels.

FALL YOUTH FIELD HOCKEY for 2025
About the Fall K to 6th Program!
The Fall program will run August 25th, 2025 through October 18/19th, 2025 (no practices will be held Monday Sept 1st (Labor Day) and no practices Wednesday September 24th during the Lampeter fair.
Practices will be every Monday and Wednesday night from 5:30-7:00pm for 1/2, 3/4 and 5/6. The Kindergarten crew will be 530-6:40pm.
All Practices will be at the Martin Meylin junior high field hockey field. These practices provide fundamental skills, small sided games, hockey knowledge, while teaching age appropriate competition.
We ask that all players get to the field between 5:15 pm and 5:30 pm for warm up and free play. We start right at 5:30 pm so we don't lose time or the light as the season goes on.
Play Dates: We will play 4 play dates for 1-2 team, and 5 play dates for 3/4 and 5/6 with other youth teams from Lancaster. All play dates are on Saturdays in September and October. All girls will get to play 1-2 games at each event.
(Note: We don't do playdays for the K Crew. They don't need that stress - your coach will explain!)

Expected Days and Times:
- Monday and Wednesday evenings August 25th-October 18/19th from 5:30 to 7:00pm , K Crew is 5:30 to 6:40pm
- No practice on Monday September 2nd - Labor Day
- No practices during the Lampeter fair- Wednesday September 24th
Equipment Needed :
- Stick
- Shin Guards
- Mouth Guard
- Appropriate athletic attire & footwear
- Water Bottle
Cost to play:
$120 per player for Fall program
